North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene has a 160-hour CDL Class A training program that includes 50 hours behind the wheel, 40 hours of classroom instruction, and up to 70 or more hours of lab, range, and observation.

Prerequisites (school will help with some of these):

  • Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Have a current Idaho or Washington CDL Instruction Permit
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card
  • Pass drug screening
